I was visiting S.C. this weekend and looked up the local dealer. The Buell website showed Thunder Tower HD/ Buell 19 miles from where I was staying. Rode down and checked them out. No Buell signage, but 5 Buells in the display windows. 4 more up front on the showroom floor and another in the "sold" area". Saw 1 Buell in the service area (don't know their service reputation though). Buell rack with a few shirts and some Buel rain gear.

Overheard one of the salesmen talking to a guy about Buells and the salesman seemed to know a little about the bikes and even brought up the 1125R.

Went back again the next day. A different staff guy comes out and asks if I am the one on the Buell and gives me a Buell Beanie! D

Looks like some dealers are trying!

Hey PS,

We've visited Thundertower a few times; like you say, it seems like they are trying. They do have a Buell sign somewhere on the building, but as usual it's not very prominent.

Did you find any decent roads around Camden?

Hugh,

Although I didn't have much riding time, I did find a few... North on 97 to Lake Shore drive on the left. It was up and down, left and right posted 25 mph. Only bad thing was there losts of driveways for hazzards to pop out of... Then Harbor something road... back towards the lake more houses... away from the lake some posted 35 mph curves that were pretty sweet!!

Oh yeah, the roads have a tendency to just "end"! Glad I wasn't going that fast. LOL.
