This is not a post for a sale. I had my 2001 M2L stolen this week. Custom gloss black paint, black wheels, white bros. exhaust, bar end mirrors. If anyone sees anything on the internet, ebay, craiglist, etc, please let me know. I'm located in the Minneapolis, MN area. Thanks for your help. justinkelderdc@gmail.com Justin |

There's a website I think you can use to register a stolen bike. (The lojack guy sent it to me.) It's not affiliated with law enforcement, I think, but people can check it when they're buying a bike. http://home.interhop.net/agray/lostride/ Anyway, it can't hurt. Sorry to hear abut your bike - that absolutely sucks. |

Any details on how the theft occurred? Street or garage, locked or not, disk lock &/or chain or not, daytime or night time, work parking lot, mall lot, other? Helps to know a little to help figure out if it was either a planned theft or a spur of the moment opportunity theft. Sorry to hear about it in any case. Also check nearby craigslist postings, anything within a hour or three drive is worth checking out. |

The M2L was parked in an underground, electronic key secured parking garage at Park Glen Apts. in St. Louis Park, MN. Steering lock was engaged, no other locks were on it. I have in my possession all keys. There is a sub-par security camera at the entrance, it has been watched and nothing was seen. Seems to me to be pretty well-planned. The craigslist post actually is very similar to my buell, but the date that was posted was definitely prior to the date mine was stolen. Thank you all for eyes and ears!!! |

Two questions: 1. were any vans or enclosed pickups or large station wagons seen coming or going with the security camera. 1a. were there any gaps in the security camera recordings. (had a local situation were the parking lot security camera was mysteriously turned off during a recent vehicle break-in). 2. Is it possible to move the bike from the parking area into an apartment without going past the security camera. |

WOW! I remember reading your first posting and thinking to myself, "yeah, right... like he's gonna get it back in one piece." Good news ALWAYS makes my day! I don't suppose they have any leads on the hemmorhoids who did it do they? (Message edited by slaughter on August 12, 2007) |

Happy for you!!! I thought it unlikely to find it in one piece. But as Slaughter said, good news ..... |

Yeah, I thought it would be transformed into a Mutant by now...I'm glad they found it. I guess they didn't realize how much trouble these Buells are before they stole it! Maybe now they will think twice about stealing another one. |
