I need some new gear for the summer. I'm looking for something breathable I can wear over my business clothes on a daily basis. I'm leaning toward Joe Rocket Alter Ego overpants and a Joe Rocket Super Ego jacket. Any opinions on those or suggestions for other gear? Whatever I get will need to zip together, so I probably can't mix and match brands. | ||

I think you will find th alter ego too hot for GA. Go with the full mesh....I do not remember the model name. I have the full mesh pant and jacket, fantastic. I have the ballastic pant for now, which was too hot today, and the full mesh for when the morning are getting into the 60's. right now they are low mid 50's too cold at highway speed with full mesh. well at least for me. Talk about shrinkage. | ||

Cool, thanks. I have the Ballistic pants as well, and they're definitely too hot for this weather. Are these the pants you're thinking of? Phoenix | ||

I would go with the Pheonix, jacket.. had one, crashed it.. It is a disposable jacket, BUT, mine came with a rain/wind liner, was pretty good for the time I had it...Think I paid 150ish for it... Chase | ||

Sanchez, That's the stuff. Just realize that come summer, Nekkid is still going to be too warm, but if you limit the time on the scooter to early and later and not so much during the day, the Joe Rocket mesh works well. |
