I,m looking for a different fairing for my 99 x1. Something a little larger than the stock screen. Anybody know of any aftermarket products?

This should be in the Body section of the KV, but a company called Eurocomponents used to sell a 3/4 fairing for the X-1. I have one on mine. Look around and you may be able to find an old leftover one or might be able to find a badwebber willing to sell theirs.

Other than that try different universal fairings/windscreens or give Airtech a shout to see what they can come up with. Before I found my fairing, I thought about modifying one of the Airtech fairings for the S-1 to fit my X-1.

Check the X1 Files. There are a few options shown.

I wrote a guide to installing a Eurocomponents fairing (the company that makes it is called Odysee, Eurocomponents is the US importer). It was a 24 beer project, largely due to the poor instructions and subpar fit and finish. It looked real good when done, though.

Take an R-Nose and make some mounting brackets, re-rout some cables and wires and done.

Another option you might want to try is to stick on a S3T nose.
I think they bolt right on.

Good luck finding an Odysee fairing. They don't make them anymore. I wonder who bought the molds...

S3 fairings are a bolt on, but you also change the dash, handlebar clamp etc.

How about a Rifle fairing?
