in a perfect world, i'd take all 3. but in my "new racer/empty wallet" world, i have to choose. i might be able to swing 2, but definitely not 3. i've been through penguin at loudon and have my CCS license - plan to start racing this year...

anyone have first hand, or "reliable second hand" info/experience/feedback on any of these courses?

advice on taking it at the particular tracks listed below would be helpful too!

Reg Pridmore school - Road America

http://www.superbikeschool.com/
Keith Code school - Blackhawk

Kevin Schwantz school - Road Atlanta

thanks : D

I've done RA with CLASS a few times (99,00,05) and I'll be with them there again this June, but I think a tighter track (ie BlackHawk or the CLASS I'll be at in October at Barber) would be more educational and entertaining.

I highly recommend Frank Kinsey's school.

From world class reputation, personal talent and written feedback over the years, if and when I take one there is only one answer, KEVIN SCHWANTZ!!! I thing Roadaracing World or some publication a few years back made it seem like loads of fun and good track time.

If you're looking for race orientation, I'd steer clear of CLASS.

For the very best, Freddie Spencer's school in Vegas.

Code takes it up to racing level.

Class doesn't go that far but Jason does Star school which does.

Spencer is top of the line but a few thousand bucks for the weekend.

Fastrack Riders has a good group of on-track instructors who will work with you one-on-one if you ask (I have one of them racing my Buell here at Willow Springs for me as a matter of fact).

Don't know what kind of local New Racer School training CCS offers since I transferred my license without taking their school - but if they're like most schools, heck, take it a few times and get some specific help from their instructors.

If you ever come to Willow Springs on a race weekend, we offer an Advanced Race Clinic where you can learn such esoteric racing stuff as passing out of the draft, front wheel slides (and recovery) - fast traffic... all at an instructor/student ratio of never more than 1:3
