I've been wanting an excuse to post this story, but no one has given me one. I'm just gonna do it anyway. First you have to understand that I am a bit shy. Not painfully so, but I don't really like being the center of attention. Gradually, I'm learning that owning a motorcycle may not be the best way to just "blend in." So, I walk into K-mart on a mission to buy a box of condoms. I'm 37 years old. I long ago got over being embarassed by doing this. Or so I thought. However I learn that K-mart no longer keeps them on the shelves. They are locked up in a glass case, and you have to go get the pharmicist to open it for you. I walk over to the pharmacy, and there are two college age girls working in there. Just for good measure, another woman about my mothers age gets in line behind me. I announce to the assembly of females that I need the case opened. One of the college chicks grabs some keys and we walk over to the case. It actually turns out to be cases, and she asks me which one I want her to open. I need the extra large size, but I don't know where it is. So I get to hunt for it with her leaning over my shoulder. I find them and we walk back to the pharmacy. Now it's time to pay. I already know whats going to happen. You see, I have a Harley-Davidson Visa card. I didn't think much about it when I got it, but I have been supprised by how many people comment on it. So she rings me up and I hand her the card, which she looks at and exclaims "Oh my God, you have a Harley card. Thats so hot." I've gotten a lot of comments on the card, but this is the first time anyone has ever called it "hot." I had to laugh at myself. I'm sure it would have been a great time to offer her a ride, but all I wanted to do was escape from the store! | ||

Maybe that is what she wanted was a ride and find out how the product you bought works.. lol.  she sees the buell and OFF COMES THE CLOTHES!! lol | ||

LOL - I'll have one angry redhead on my hands if I start giving rides to the K-mart girls. BTW, I took the redhead to Michaels this morning for breakfast. She mentioned that she would like to see Tanya (sp?) sometime. Up for a visit sometime? | ||
