Hey there, just wondering if the pulley bolt pattern for the rear is the same as the 5 bolt 91-03 XL patter. Im running the chrome 3 winged 2piece wheels. Im doing a chain conversion and had to order new sprockets..

Thanks

the bolt pattern is the same but you will need to machine the center hole out to fit the PM wheels if you use a sportster sprocket. I've done a few of these conversions

Thanks @madmacks.

I ordered a 25 tooth drive sprocket .5 inch offset and a flat 54 tooth wheel sprocket with a spacer. I think the chain will line up and give me enough clearence on the swing arm.

I will have to grind down the engine mount and put some delrin on the swing arm for slap but i think this will work out! I will do a thread with details when im done.

the offset sprocket will give you grief. If you offset the drive you need to offset the rear as well to keep the chain straight. Even With only a 1/4" offset I had issues with the chain interfering with the frame on the outside just above the isolator. I run no offset on either and a 190 tire on my drag bike.

why??? to fit the 190 tire and change gear ratio on the final drive.
