I'm finding some nice PM wheel sets for sale that probably came from later tubers.

Could someone tell me if they are all the same, and if they would be a direct bolt-up to an S2 with Marchesini's, or will there be spacer / fitment issues?

They will work on all Tubers.

I thought PM wheels needed PM spacers? Axles are the same, but the spacing changed?

That's what I want to make sure of before I fork out $.

In the parts book there are different numbers for the Marchesini and PM wheels of course, including bearings and inner spacers, and one extra bearing for the rear PM wheel, but no separate part numbers for spacers or anything else, which makes me think it should be a direct swap if all bearings come with the wheels?

Spacers aren't that hard to make!
Probably someone on this forum can help with dimensions or making some for you.

From what I remember the spacer is different. Thats the only difference you can run a wider tire on the pm also

I don't recall having to change spacers when I changed from PMs to Cast Alloys. I'm pretty sure the only spacer differences are on the front end between the 94-98 models and the 99-02 models, because the earlier ones use a speedometer cable drive unit, which acts as a spacer itself, and the later models do not.
