Has anyone ever put buell motor (lightning or cyclone) in a sportster frame. I know the buell is a far better engineered frame and would going backwards in performance and handling. But would have a screaming fast sportster.(Not even sure it would bolt up) I have seen some "custom choppers" with redneck engineering (the brand not knocking anyone) frames with buell motors but not a sportster. If it's been done would like to see pics

Take headers off, put sportster pipes on it fits no different. performance of motor will change as different pipes will effect that, not much difference between sportster and buell motor but heads you add weight so doubt will be same performance.
