Ok so I know this is a none tuber question but people here are so knowledgeable I thought I would try.
I also have a 2005 softail deluxe with the dunlop d402 MU85B16 and was on my way home and felt the bike get washy got to a safe spot and pulled over and the rear tire was flat got it home and took the wheel off can not find a leak any wear but it goes flat within seconds and the air is coming out the spokes. Advice on new tire repair tire etc would be much appreciated?

If you have spokes, you must have a tube in there.
DO NOT try fix a flat. That will make a ROYAL mess.

That's really the only useful advice I can give right now.

You need to take the tube out of the tire. It can be done without removing the tire but it is much easier to take it to a shop and do it right. The bead of the tire must come to the center of the rim to remove even just the tube.

Without the "air coming out of the spokes" observation I'd have suggested starting with the valve core.

"Fix a flat" will not fix anything.

Get a new rim strip when you get the new tube. It's the big rubber band that wraps around the end of the spokes, to protect the tube from rubbing.

Also check for rust inside of rim and remove rust or replace rim if present. Riding in rain or washing bike a lot can cause water to get past spokes and inside of rim causing issues.

I'm betting the valve stem tore off of the inner tube after the pressure got low. A new inner tube and rim strip will fix you up.

While it's off, run your hand along the inside of the tire to make sure there are no small nails pushing through.

Got it taken care of. No puncture in the tire anywhere the tube had a 12" cut in it looked like someone went straight down with a razor and it was on the side so maybe it was pinched

Low pressure, soft sidewall, hard corner... it could happen that way.

As low as a soft-tail doesn't corner, there are car tires that will fit on your rim and give you many many miles. I'm planning to do that to my fat boy as soon as it needs a new tire.
