Working on my clutch and I need a bunch of seals, gaskets, and other commodity parts. Is there an online resource that sells Buell motor parts? Or should I resort to buying a sportster parts book and ordering from an HD site?

So the numbers are the same from the buell catalog to the sporty catalog?

I suppose I was wondering if there were an online resource where I can get standard commodity parts for a discount.

Hey X1 Bueller...

Try www.surdyke.com

They are a HD Dealer in St. Louis area but very friendly for Buell parts.

I have had really good luck with these guys on some difficult to find parts for the S2 and S1. It will help a lot if you know the part numbers...

www.LSHD1.com.

LSHD is about .5 mile from my office. I have been in there 3 days in a row. They have a couple of good helpful parts guys, but they dont budge on list price.

We were discussion the grenade plate deal and they were talking about how they recommend getting rid of it...

The I was looking over a gently used road king and talked with one of the sales managers. He said buy a BMW K series....

When you order from the website it is already 20% below list price.

They don't offer the 20% discount in the store... And for what I need (less than $50 worth of stuff), it's not worth the savings to pay $10 for shipping.

What I will do is print it out and take it to them to see if they will honor the web site pricing.

Heads-up to anyone who cares (or lives in the area). I just dropped by the store to show them my clutch parts and order the new stuff. I was told that the on-line store is a completely different entity and the store does not honor the discount pricing. Same owner; different operation and location.
