It's a Bartel's brand. They are nice for several reasons, my favorite among them is I don't get a bruise on my knee like I did with the race intake.

Whats the purpose of the second cover? When I got my bike I removed the second cover.

I think it is mostly decorative, but may also help keep water out of the intake tract, I don't have the top cover so don't know how well it shields the filter.

Here's the intake without the top cover on my bike:





I'm not trying to crowd anyone out of bidding, buying the whole kit just to get the top cover is not a great plan for me. I still have to get bicycle parts and truck parts for my cold weather, and stay fit vehicles.
