I burned the eeprom to ecm, bike back to square one after messing around with all the electrical/computer stuff I think my problems is mechanical.

My thoughts are the bike was ran to long in lean condition in desert climate and burnt a valve?

Any thoughts here's a vid of the exhaust while cranking. It looks like fuel mist being blown out.

After watching your vid it looks like a timing problem to me.
Did you make sure the plug wires are on the right cyl.?
Hope you get this resolved, sounds really frustrating.

No timing is spot on with tdc of front cylinder coil connected right,
compression good
fuel pump good
injectors clean
tps good
I even replaced the ecm with an race one
still no idle
I ordered an extra wiring harness
and VOES
I have a spare carb and coil
time to convert

Well I got the bike running. After much frustration I borrowed the carb/manifold off my 98 s3. Bike runs great

I'm on the hunt for another fuel pump since that's the only piece yet to be replaced.

I don't understand why the other pump is failing it pumps out 48psi. Any thoughts?

I don't want to leave it carb without the voes, Unless using the bike can still advance the timing to avoid detonation with the stock ecm. Anybody running this set up?
