will the tps keep my injectors closed if it is faulty? 2002 X-1.thats the code i got and still not getting fuel

You got the TPS code? If the TPS is faulty, it will do all kinds of weird things to fueling I'm sure. The TPS checks throttle position and then the ECM checks that against intake temp and RPM to decide how much fuel to squirt into the intake.

The TPS code, if I'm not mistaken, means that you have a short in the TPS circuit. Check all the wires to your TPS for continuity. If you're lucky, it's just a broken or disconnected wire somewhere.

I had some chafed wires above the engine/under the tank.
That's also where your TPS lives.
It's a good place to start your search.
