We had about 20-30 people, 3 of them were first timers.

We talked about:
More up-dates on Bonneville from Fireman Jim
The September 4-day destination ride from me.
The Harley Dealers that are shutting down in the Bay Area from Bill Keys
Next year's 1/2 mile in Calistoga
The latest on Carnegie OHV from Dave Duffin (?)
Discussion on a ASBN swap meet once or twice a year
Etc.

An update from Alan Smith and his high mileage attempt with Craig Vetter.
A special Thanks to Alan, Jim, Jim, and Jack for filling in for october...

This Saturday is the date when I compete again with Craig Vetter on fuel economy. I've made additional upgrades to be more competitive. We will run from San Louis Obispo to Salinas, 150-miles. A diesel KLR 650 and an electric motorcycle are also planning to compete. We don't think the electric motorcycle can go the whole distance. If the Diesel KLR shows up I plan to ask the owner if I can test ride it.
