HI all you tubie owners,well can any one help me, i have replaced my top rubber isolator mount and after 5000ks it breaks apart im on my 4th one now... has anyone brought the new mount and r having the same problem !!!!!

I was in the same boat. Went through three replacements after the original, I have about a thousand miles on the new isolator and so far so good. I would order them from American Sportbike so you are sure to get all necessary parts.

that "D" shaped washer has to be pointed in the right direction too.
I'm pretty sure the flat side faces front.

If you get a good one and install it right, I find about 20000 miles is about average life span.

My longest lasting one was about 45000 and the worst I had was under 10K.

The newest isolator does away with the D-washer. Plus it uses a snubber, and costs only 25 bucks!
