Hi,
I have read some of the posts and haven't found a definitive answer. Do you or don't you seal the inside of your tank to stop the bubbling. My tanks is all bubbled up and has some gouges. What do I fill in these spots with? When I paint the tank, I will use the proper paint.
Thanks in advance.

no. Tank sealer is for metal tanks, to stop corrosion. The proper way to stop the bubbling is with the correct primer and re-paint, very patient, careful prep work. If you've searched the issue, you should already have the specified paint and primer.

Not saying some haven't used tank sealer, but I wouldn't.

The bubbling isn't the paint...it's the PREP.

Prep it right and repaint, you'll be fine.

I wouldn't seal the inside either. If paint on the outside bubbles...where would the sealer go if / when it bubbled on the INside?

I don't want that in my carb.
