I've been looking everywhere for the plastic/rubber pieces that hold a canister off the frame just a bit (they look like a two "C's" facing away from each other). Billet would be even better but I can't even find those...

"canister" ?
Do you mean shock reservoir?

The rubber pieces are still available from the dealer, and billet is available from several places, but I can't remember off the top of my head. Try a search on this site.

Canister as in shock reservoir, catch can, etc... When you say "dealer" do you mean HD/Buell? I'm not sure what to ask for--do they have a name or part #? Sure would like to find the billet version...

It sounds to me like you mean the parts that hold the fuel tank off of the frame. Unfortunately I don't have an S3 parts book to look up the number....
Looking at a service manual I see a carbon canister held in place by two clamps. Is that it? (Not that I could help you if it is...)

Just doing a Google search, found a dozen or so billet pieces, but not the one I remember. Seems like most billet pieces don't use the rubber things, it's like either/or.

But here's a place that makes billet clamps and also sells the rubber standoff things. Sizes for a Catch Can can be different from a shock reservoir. The reservoir diameter can be different between the various brands.

(This is intentionally not a 'link'.)

The Buell part number for a 2001 Cyclone rubber insert is: 54625-96Y MOUNT, rear shock absorber reservoir, and the Parts book only seems to indicate one, but I have two on my M2 with a Penske reservoir. The Clamp that holds the body is: S0120.K and there's a Hose Clamp shown as well: Ko411.8B but don't know where that goes.
