I had my bike repainted and while the plastics were off at the body shop I had a turn signal that was not working so I started tinkering and this is pretty much were it goes down hill. I fixed the turn signal but in the process shorted out the flasher and blew a fuse. Got all that replaced and working but know the bike won't start. I hit the ignition and absolutley nothing. I also did a great deal of cleaning of the engine and frame. Now my plastics are back it's 84 degrees and the damn thing won't start. All the fuses are good and everything is hooked up. The lights, horn turn signals they all work. I know their is some type of circuit breaker above the battery could this blow and the ignition not work?

Is everything grounded properly? I beleive there are two grounds on the Buell tubers. I'm guessing that you accidently didn't connect something correctly. Also, how is the battery? It could have a bad cell.

The grounds should be good I didn't touch them. I replaced a bulb in the dash and tightened some connections and the turn signal started working. When replacing the bulb the two wires touched and blew the flasher and fuse. I'm thinking I shorted something out or got water in one of the switches like the clutch switch or kickstand switch. Electrical is just not my area of expertise and not sure how to check a lot of these things.

Hooked jumper cables from my truck battery to the battery leads on the bike and the horn is louder and lights are brighter but still nothing from the ignition.

pull the 2 relais and the diodes, spray some WD40, swap, reinstall. I have the same symptoms on my S3 and when I play with the relais block it usually comes back on....

Charge your battery on a charger. Disconnect the charger. Now see if the lights are brighter and the horn louder just like when you hooked to the car with jumper cables. If so, then try to start bike. If no ignition and your lights are now dimmer or gone, and if your odometer light are out and were not before, it's your battery.
