I did some PMing and found a maker of carbon parts on Ebay. Didn't see much for the S-1, though they have plenty for the X-1s. They said they would be willing to build S-1 tail sections for $150 if someone will send them their stock tail to use as a mold. Any of you out there willing to send your old tail in for the cause? Here's their store: http://stores.ebay.com/ECC-RACING_Buell_W0QQ_fsubZ 19280710QQ_sidZ693696567QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em32 2 Wheels: On another note, the S1W I'm buying has white Marschesini wheels. I'd like to trade for the polished Chicane wheels. Holler if you're interested. The bike is in Colo Springs right now but will be transported to SLC, Ut in the next week or so. |

If it's a 98 with factory wheels, they only look like Marchesini's. They're Castalloys though. The way to tell (without the stickers on the rim) is the Marchesinis have an "m" cast into the spoke bases; castalloys have "Buell" cast into 'em. Just to clarify for potential swappers |

haha. Hey just like most things American...it's American in name, foreign built and supplied. Plus, who's to say ECC isn't an American guy over there making the stuff with American tools with American immigrants? |

I wonder if this is the 'carbon fiber' that friend of mine got for his X1. The tank cover made of 'Carbon Fiber' weight 10 times more than stock! |

For $150.00 it won't be real carbon fiber more likely a faked Chinese poor quality cheap fiberglass copy that doesn't fit or look worth a shit. |

I don't know the company so I'm not trying to knock them... but I know from experience that alot of the cheap CF on ebay is garbage. if they're serious about producing a new product for you ask them to provide you with some samples of their work first. |
