Just thought I'd mention that I changed my First isolator Tuesday. I've had a DS iso sitting in the closet for months, But just never got around to doing so. I was alway. Scared of doing this. I gotta say that after changing it, I would rate the job as way easier than I expected. I had the bike level and put a floor Jack under the front shock mount to keep the motor where I wanted. I managed to get a tq wrench on the centerbolt pretty easily with a long extension but it was hell for a minute trying to get 110 ft/lbs on it with that long extension. I managed pretty easily inthe end though. I couldn't get a tq wrench on the two on the sides so I snugged them with wrenches to what felt like about 20 ft/lbs. Can't wait to take this baby for a ride. All I lack are a couple little things and a battery...

Ross:You can torqu side bolts but you must undue iso(mount) hanger then lock-tite new ,grade nines in head.If you use Drag iso it will vibe a lot more than Buell. But some people it does not bother.

Oh I see. I'm not too worried about the vibes. I like how the bike shakes the mirrors crazy when idling. Scares little children lol.
