Okay, I just hooked up my ECM Spy for the first time ever. Everything hooked up correctly and everything, but when I went to back / save my EEPROM, I didnt have that option. I have the tuning guide, and my screen didnt have the EEPROM area on the overview screen. I had to go into file and get it, then when I did that, it wasnt written in black and I didnt have the option of clicking on it. Someone please help. Thanks alot, Matthew Tully

Matt - When you first get ECM Spy up and running. (Talking to the bike) Go to Maps and click on "Fetch Maps". Once done then click on "File" and Save EEPROM. Make sure to save it to a safe place. If you still have problems PM me your phone # and I can give you a call tomorrow. (I'll be working on my bike all day.)

Tdman77, thats what I am saying, my overview screen dont say anything about fetch maps, fuel maps, nothing about EEPROM, nothing. The only thing I can find about EEPROM is under the file tab, and it wont let me access it. I will pm you my numbers and if you dont mind hit me up tommorrow and help me out, I would really appreciate it. Thanks Tully

Go to the "View" dropdown menu and click Professional. Then the following tabs will be displayed: Maps, Other Maps, EEPROM, ECM-Config.

Go to EEPROM and "Fetch EEPROM. After it finishes then use the file menu to save-as and create a name for it.

BC Steve

Steve, that worked for me, and I reset my tps. Now I have a fuse that keeps blowing. Its the one that works my odometer and turn signals, and turn signal indicators. Does anyone know what is up with that.

Got it. Thanks Andrew. Sorry for the hijack Matthew...
As far as the fuse blowing, have you done any electrical work to the bike lately? Sounds like a short somewhere...

Good spot for my problem with Espy. I can't get the tachometer to work. '99-S3. Does the tach option maybe only work with newer models?

Fixed my fuse blowing problem. I some how pushed up my rear brake switch into the bottom tail section bolt. Just shoved it down, covered it with some shrink tubeing. And that fixed the problem. Just letting everyone know. See ya, Matt Tully
