Which line do I tie into? On my old Sportster I tied into the return line. Do I do the same?

I would hook into the output of the pump for the input to the cooler. The output of the cooler to the input of the filter just above the oil PSI sensor.

Thanks Joe, I was told on my old sportster to tie into the return line because of dry start up. They claimed back then, that the oil cooler drains out into the case leaving a big air pocket in the oil cooler to be pushed through. I guess this isn't a problem anymore. Has anyone else hear of this?

Using the pump output could lower the oil pressure. I used the return before I purchased an adapter. An adapter is much simpler, cleaner, and easier.

The sandwich adapters take the oil from the pump then return it to the filter. They due add volume but with the lines run as above it can be cleaner. Not as simple but I believe cheaper.
Good luck
Joe

Bad Karma, I think your right. I plan on a rear mount set up. So a cleaner mounting is much easier w/ less hose to push oil through. THANKS ALL!!! BILL
