Jos: "Danger" is identical to my existing shock.
"Do I want to be within 20 miles of you when you're riding with that shock? Definitely not!"
But I have such a cute jeans butt! ;D

Bott: OH really? Sounds ace, so just smack it on and I can wheelie again =DDDD

Actually it is about 1000.00 USD. Pound is currently less than 2.0000. Roughly same price as the Penske.

"But I have such a cute jeans butt!"

My interest in that will depend on your gender. IF you are female, AND you are in front of me, traveling away from me, on a Buell with the pole-vault shock installed, I might make an assessment of your Jeans Butt.

I will then feel sorry for your butt, if that shock breaks.

: )

Ok, your X1 is a 2K which means it has a lighter flywheel and a different second gear ratio than the 99, so the shock is subjected to different stresses than the 99. All this means that your bike NEEDS the upgraded shock! Your broken butt will thank you.

Jos: it does look nice yes, but it is an OEM and in the USA (hefty shipping costs).

Doesn't that white one from Germany work also?

To be honest, that looks like the "recall of death" shock, but it doesn't look quite right. Is it OE Buell, or aftermarket?

You're right, it just doesn't have the adjuster and hose on it.

S1, maybe.

That BUELL X1 LIGHTNING POST RECALL SHOCK is up to 250usd now, will be about 400 with shipping and toll fees... I add 250usd and get a spanking new Works one (mind that is price without shipping and toll)... Not sure what to do?
