Would appreciate any opinions or experiences from anyone who has installed/adapted an old style Sportster ham can type air cleaner on an M2. I am trying to find a cheap way to get rid of the stocker. Thanks for any input

I recently bought my M2 and it has the stock air cleaner setup on it. I kicked around the idea of installing a force air intake or something else. But, I really enjoy the oddness and looks I get with the stock airbox on it. Just thought I's share!

The Sportster hamcan isn't offset forward like the race kit CF hamcan is. It'll really bash your knee good, even more than the race kit hamcan.

There's another thread going on now about how to convert your existing snorkel to a Forcewinder copy. I just saw it somewhere around here... That might be cheap enough for you. Maybe a new filter only.

I just don't care for the stock box and thought the ham can might be a fit without a lot of mods or cause great leg interference. Don't really want to spend a ton on a Forcewinder or a Hurricane. Thanks for all thoughts.
