I have a 99 M2 I'm thinking about going to a Penske or Works shock. What can I do to the front forks? Most of the stuff I've read just talk about installing X1 or S3 forks. Are their people out their who revalve the existing fork and or install new springs?

I went the RaceTech route - springs & Gold Valves - mebbe $250 + labor to modify/install

X1's USD forks available for about same $$,
with greater adjustability - think I'd do it that way next time......

I did the valves and springs too. I would like the X1 forks, but I would still need to revalve and spring them.

The work was rather easy, aside from figuring out just how to pull the stock compression valves out. I haven't been able to test it yet, I am doing a full race rebuild right now, and my first track session will be the beginning of April.

If you have any questions on how to do any of this, I would be more then happy to help. Don't PM or email me, my home computer is dead. Call me at the shop (508) 721-9876, my name is Erik.

Firstbuell...What have you noted with your change to race springs on M2 forks? Much improved over before? Worth it? I'm thinking of going this route with tired dsuspension on an M2 I have.

Thx
