Hi, I just had my cylinders bored by a good machinist who has done H-D cylinders with torque plates many times. He bored mine to the Buell spec. of 3.502 for .005 over pistons. The pistons have enough drag to stay where you put them in the bore, this can't be right. Anyone have experience with the stock Buell coated pistons. The manual states that they cant be measured.

Put the cylinders in a torque plate and see if the results are the same.

Traditionally, pistons are measured at the widest point of the skirt, perpendicular to the piston pin bore.

I'm not sure why Harley says they can't be measured.
