Ok i put a aluminum swingarm off a '00 M2. On to my 97 S1. Ok the question is are they the same width. The reason i ask is the axle bolt is 3/8 out past the axle nut. And i don't remember the bolt sticking out that far with the old swingarm.

the newer swing arm uses a shorter rear axle. some people here have just used spacers to take up the extra. i used a axle from a al swing arm.. hope this helps..aaron
