last month, on my 99 s3, one of my front isolator bolts backed out, causing the other to snap when i hit a hard bump in the road.
this is the second time that this has happened.

has anyone else seen or heard of this happening or is it just my bike?

thanks Ebutch.
i had the buell tech at the dealership where i work repair it for me and torque it to the proper specs.
i also thought about drilling the head of the bolts and safety wiring them, but think i will wait and see if they back out again before doing so.

I have heard of one other bike having this happen... It was an S1. I have a '99 S3 with 26K miles. I just went down and checked my front isolator bolts... clean, dry, and tight. Never been touched. If Loc-tite isn't workin' for ya, have you considered safety-wire?

Tim,
I pulled my 99 S3 down to rebuild the motor and found the clutch side bolt broken. Make sure that your motor and swing arm mounts are good and updated. You aren't by chance a bubblehead are you?

I'm almost done putting mine back together after the front isolator mount let go.
