thinking of selling my cherry 2000 x1 , but unsure of an asking price , i got it about a year n half ago , it has 9500 miles on it mods include d&d reverse cone muffler race ecm k&n open air filter plate relocator andrews cams steel rocker box gaskets tank accents aftermarket clutch plates and frictions upgraded shift drum its in excellent condition , the rear tire is alittle wore , probably only has 4/32 left , front tire is probably around 8/32 brake pads are 50% , the paint is excellent , there is one small stone chip in the front deflector {in the white part}, and the lower fairing has a rub mark from the clutch cable. other than that it is in excellent condition, oil always changed at 2,000 miles and trans always had synthetic in it i was thinking of asking 6,500.00 for it , i think its well worth the price for these hard to find bikes,with the performance mods, im the 2nd owner , the first owner was a harley tech , and he had to get rid of it becuase of the whole marriage thing, im thinking of selling becuase i just dont need it anymore and im tired of paying insurance on something i only ride for about 50 miles a week what ya guys think ? pictures are avalible, and i am taking offers , it may go on ebay , or may be parted out if i dont get a reasonable price. | ||

Look at my 2001 X1 with the rare molten orange and nuke blue setup it originally had the yellow body pieces. I bought it with 4500 miles and has these mods. ECU with buell race system (header ceramic coated crome). Carbon pieces = undertail, tank accents, tank protector, dash pieces and rear hugger over $1000 in carbon. I got an extra stock seat, brand new battery and a new set of pirelli diablo stradas. Mine also has a small stone chip in the front fender and the same rub mark from the clutch cable other than that the bike was and still is in showroom condition. Look at the pic and figure your price from it. I paid $6000 for mine with all the mods and extras. Kelly Blue Book without add ons and mods was $6058 at the time i bought it back in April.  |
