Are they just on top of the paint on the '97 M2 or are they stuck to the primer without paint underneath??   Rex Posted on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 - 08:27 pm:        I believe they are under the clear coat and on top of the paint...but the paint has bubbled from underneath, so all needs to come off, be recoated and repainted.....then put the new hard tape on hard letters. rex   Pdhockey31 Posted on Thursday, July 13, 2006 - 09:18 am:        sweet thanks rex!   Buellfighter Posted on Thursday, July 13, 2006 - 10:28 am:        I was able to use the sharp point of a knife and lift the corner of a letter and one by one peel them out which leaves a recessed area for each letter.
