Nope, that would be Poland. Hungary too. The Czech Republic is pretty on the ball. Makes great weapons & helicopters.
Face it, one reason to pick on Europe ( and I did, a little unfairly. But only a little ) is they really do have mixed feeling about us. And those feelings are deserved.
But for over 200 years, when people are oppressed, they come here. OTOH, they got Roman Polanski. Do the moral math.
I should really have pointed out it is the Western NATO countries that have got the serious problems with socialism & paying for Leftist causes. The Former Soviet Slave States are poor as heck, generally, but are not at all clueless.
Hey, we set up the conditions that let them take the paths they've taken. Tired of a constant state of war there, and 3 major wars in the 20th Century. ( you just don't learn about the 19th in American schools )
And I pick on England because it's the closest, culturally, to us, we are a former colony, and it's going downhill fast. I'll be even louder and less polite if it comes out American law enforcement is letting Rape/torture/prostitution gangs run cities like Buffalo, as has happened in England.
Really like the Scandahoovian countries, Really European people in general, and often defend France against insult. But I do believe the only way for France to win a war is to gather all the Generals in a nice Chalet with plenty of wine, and no phone or radio connection to the outside, and put a Sgt. Major in charge. Their Armed Forces are brave and well equipped. Their Generals & politicians have been garbage since Napoleon.
The unelected, EU government, OTOH, should be shipped to Syria with insults to the Prophet tattooed on their foreheads.
Of course, on bad days I feel that way about Disney upper management.
"What's better about the recent North Korea denuclearization agreement over the agreements made in 1985, 1992, 1994, 2005, 2007, and 2012?"
That remains to be seen, but as Hugh indicated, the people doing the verifying are different this time.
Note that not one sanction has been lifted. We didn't give them any money, or promises of food and fuel. But we might. I guess it depends on whether they actually get rid of their program. I'm optimistic. Unlike Clinton's deal, where anyone with two brain cells to rub together could see that we were getting played, Trump just might succeed in getting it done. I hope he does. Do you not?

Lets start with the remains of our fallen warriors being returned home after 65 years.
My father served four campaigns in Korea. Bringing home his brothers in arms is HUGE, and if that's ALL we get done this time around it's a quantum leap beyond anything that was done in the past.
President Trump is playing the long game and that is what many fail to see. Kim Jong Un is dirty, having murdered his own family and sanctioned the gulag system. His future replacement will hopefully not have this baggage which will allow Pyongyang Disney, McDonalds, and Trumpland North Korea timeshares. Oh yeah, the reunification of the Koreas. Think Germany.
I get the feeling that Kim Jong Un knows and regrets what he has done and is looking for an escape hatch.
Maybe not... maybe, Un is just waiting for the next US Prezzy to steamroll. This ain't happening with Trumpers.
Larry Elder translation: blah blah blah. I'm not so disturbed that Trump offered to pull US forces out because when N Korea rescinds their side of the agreement, Trump will rescind his. At least Trump looked vaguely presidential and stuck to the script for this appearance.
Well, even if the vote passes to split California into 3 pieces it still would have to be approved by Congress and the Senate (if my constitutional law brain cells are providing me the correct information).
Never going to happen.
California politicians will never give up the power that a united California provides despite what the people may want.
5th largest GDP in the world (trailing only Germany, Japan, China and the U.S.) Largest population in the US (larger even than Canada's entire population)
Different cultures and values in different parts of the state. The folks in farm country are tired of idiots flushing all their water into the ocean to save a fish that isn't endangered.
The rural North & SW are completely different demographics than the Coastal Elite.
Urban vs. Rural.
San Francisco vs. Imperial valley.... Etc.
All the power is on the coast, farmers inland, selective law enforcement.
Example Inland, you fix your porch. Get fined for no permit. Neighbor has cluster commune of trailers, trash, fifty illegals. Only enforce the law against those you can coerce to pay. Ignore the open crimes by those who won't. Neighbor dumps his trash by tossing the bag into your yard as he drives by, scattering all over. Police won't touch the case. But will ticket you for your mess.
A tiny part of the whole, and it dominates policy and taxes.
Upstate, considered "everyone else" by NYC, has further divides between the I-90 corridor cities, Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo. Plus the Southern Tier And North East Upstate, smaller towns, with a few big ones, like Utica, but mostly farm land and forest, many parks, mountains, lakes, and actual wilderness. Serious, you die, where your SPOT tracker can't get out of the valley, wilderness. Bears. Natives. Banjo music in the distance.
The Rest Of Us hate how the City Elite can ban wood stoves because they really would be a problem in Manhattan. But 30 miles from the nearest gas station? 50 from Natural gas pipeline? Fixed income since Nixon?
We are constantly told we can't cut the Big Apple loose, since we'd lose.... something. Tax revenue? Fashion? I forget.
Let's not forget Illinois and Chicago! There's is actually a bill that would separate Chicago from the rest of Illinois making it a State itself. I love the idea! I was hoping Canada would take them but the Canadian's are too nice to do that too!
