I've been reading the posts relating to grounding issues: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/834493.html?1534482516

I'm going to clean all my grounds ('06 XB12Ss) and add only the 2 gauge AWG cable from the battery to the anti-vibe mount. Would dielectric grease be appropriate for these ground connections?

You have to assemble the connection without grease. Then you can spray some silicone connector protective spray over the assembled joint to protect it against moisture.

I use dielectric all the time. Just a dab on a finger and smear a light coat on the end before assy. In the old days, it was known as "bulb grease" because it was used on car taillight bulbs to prevent corrosion.
Also use it on fuse prongs, ect.

Hope this helps, Dave

The operative word is dab. A light coating of dielectric paste works wonders for preventing corrosion and oxidation.

I use it on 765,000 Volt lines . . . should work great on your Buell.
