A shop recently told me that my rear header was bluish at the head and that is wrong. To hot. The front one was golden = correct temp.

FYI: I have the headers wrapped. After doing that both cyl were running at lower temp. How do I know that? Because I added (I had) a duo temp engine gauge off an airplane installed yrs ago. If I recall correctly, it dropped the head temps 25* each.

FYI: the rear cyl runs 25* hotter than the front on a regular bases.

So, did the dyno I had recently turn things and do I need to run a lower temp spark plug on the rear? Seems to run great now after the dyno. Lots of high end pull.
Anyone out there run different plugs from front to back?
Or then there is the question, do I have to go back to the dyno guy and complain?

FYI; cyl's run 325 & 350* now
