I start with four inch aluminum tubing.
cut it in half.
weld in a two inch wide strip.




make an end cap


mark it.
cut it.

make the inside pieces so that they leave an open cross section just a bit larger than that of the collector.






clamp on a heat sink so it will not warp when you weld it

make an outlet from what ever you have laying around.
(I realize that three inch tubing is to big and it would have been quieter and run just as good with something smaller but that is what I had and I wanted to ride my Buell)


there now I can go for a ride
