I have a very early Buell WP Rear Shock that I'd like to get rebuilt. Please understand that this is not one of the WP recall shocks, it's earlier than that and has billet machined mounts, not the welded on ones. Is there anywhere I can get parts for this shock, as have been told by a local shock mechanic that parts for any early WP shock can be hard to get let alone an oddball shock like the Buell.

I wouldn't have any clue where to start on that. WP parts for things that we know are hard enough to get. That shock is probably built from unobtanium.
