2004XB12R it will run up to 6800 RPM with light throttle, but dies when accelerating hard at WOT around 5000 RPM.It will not run until throttle has been closed, then runs smoothly while at slower acceleration.
TPS reset, no error codes present, all ECMspy diagnositics pass

Check the TPS output with a meter. It sounds like half your range is dead. In ECMSpy, does the throttle move smoothly as you open and close it? All the way to WOT?

The TPS shows smooth increase and across the range and voltage at idle and WOT are close to spec. Will try to measure it with a meter.
The loss of power is total as if rev limiter has been reached and continues till the throttle is allowed to close.Good accel., then like hitting a wall.
Guess I`ll try to toggle BAS off with ECMspy and try that. Maybe play with the maps a bit.Hoping to find another bike with similar problem.
Thanks

Your ECM has no cracks? The rev limit is still set around 7000? The BAS is a good idea, but I doubt it's the issue. Sounds to be inside the ECM.

Looked at ECM closely today and and didn`t see anything that would indicate a physical problem. EEPROM seems to be OK compared to the tuning guide for the Rev limits.Front and rear timing maps seem to have areas which are quite different. Fuel maps look similar to each other. BAS connection look clean and free of corrosion,Will try to test ride the bike tomorrow if it dry out.
Thanks

Any luck with a solution, I've got the same thing happening with my 08 Uly.
