Pinch bolt is out, made my own tool to fit into axle - CAN NOT turn that thing-( and don't say wimpy )All the manual references to the exhaust or tension pulley say you have to "un-thread" the axle - What's the trick   Froggy Posted on Monday, February 27, 2012 - 05:22 pm:        Stupid question, why are you fooling with the axles if you are only trying to remove the exhaust? Anyway, it sounds like the axle did not have enough anti-seize coating on it, and it seized to the bearings.
