In doing the headlight jumper mod, I had to remove the turn signal switch to get the hi/low beam switch out.

In the process, a long spring much like a ball point pen spring came out. The turn switch now will not return to center automatically so I guess this spring controls this.

I cannot figure how this spring is installed. Anyone want to take theirs apart?

All help appreciated.
