It has probably been covered somewhere, but after 30 minutes of searching I will just ask...will the final drive, clutch basket, stator, and VR from the same vintage sportster fit my x1? Are most parts interchangeable?

Thanks and LONG LIVE BUELL

Not everything is interchangeable. Best advise will be to get a parts manual for the bike.

Wait a minute Taz. I think Buell part numbers and Sportster part numbers are maybe not quite the same. Or are they??? Do they make a what fits what book? I used to have one back in the 70's and early 80's for my Superglide and 49 45 cu.in. Damn it would sure be nice. I'ld buy 2.
