Help ! I have a stock o6 Uly with 7000miles on the clock which seems to have developed more vibration through the foot pegs, it also seems to labour easier as though i am in too high a gear, it does not get any long runs as i use it to commute year round to work only a couple of miles away. I have looked at the engine mounts, all seem tight. I am not techy minded so if anyone has a thought please explain in great detail. My nearest dealer is 70 miles away and very pricey.

Check the primary chain slack when the engine is cold and again when hot. If it gets too loose, the chain can whip up and down at lower rpms making for more vibrations felt in the foot pegs.

May also be the nut on the primary gear coming loose.

It is left hand thread and requires a hell of a lot of torque and a way of locking the primary gear and the clutch.

Best done by a dealer but you can do it yourself with the right tools.
