hey any one out there know were i can pick up a ecm for a 2004 xb12s lightning it has 8,900 miles. it randomly shuts down at any time.I had it checked out at a dealer and they thought they had it fixed but it started agin the next day. It has fuel but no fire. if i let it set for a few min. or it may take a day. then it will crank no prob and run fine. when it acts up and i leave the ignition on when i hear the fuel pump prime by its self it will start fine. iv been stumped. iv looked for lose grounds and wires but nothing comes up. the last shop i had it at said they think i need a new ecm

There is another post in this forum that found that his battery had an internal short and exactly the same thing happened.

The battery terminals got hot after a few minutes of running and shut the bike down for a couple of minutes.

May be your problem.
