I know it has been gone over before but since I never had it happen I did not pay attention. Customer called,his M-2 has a "jump" leaving in first like it skips or jumps a tooth. Belt looks good, shifter adjusted etc. What else to look for?

When mine did it, it was worn dogs. Pull the primary and trap door, pull the tranny, replace the offending gear pair. A lot of work, but nothing that is rocket science, and the parts cost is actually not that bad.

Be glad its not an XB (you have to split the cases).
