I bought this bike 3 weeks ago. it had 3500 miles on it and hadnt been ridden much lately and i have put another 1000 on it the last 3 weeks. everything was running smooth untill friday night, when after dinner i went to ride it home and halfway down the block was almost thrown from it while it violently jerked before backfiring and shutting off. i was able to get it started by giving it alot of fuel with the ingnition but when it would idle really low and sound really crappy. then when i went to put it in gear as i let off the clutch it would sputter violently, backfire and shut down in a few seconds. after several times i realized that the noise you hear before ignition as the fuel pump i guess primes the engine or whatever was running the whole time i had the clutch down while it was in gear, like it was trying to keep giving it fuel. i played with all the wires and checked out everything i coudl with a few tools and my eyes and now it won't even start up.

not getting fuel? too much fuel?

its my first bike and i'm broken hearted, i was in love now i feel crushed.

any clues new friends?

ps. sorry about the novel just bugging out.
