Hi,

I'm wiring up a digital volt meter to my O2 sensor to be able to observe it while I ride, for troubleshooting purposes. It's cheaper than buying a gauge & sensor add-on kit..

I noted that my S3T ran perfectly after I put on a new O2 sensor, but every ride since then it gets a little worse, as far as having episodes of hesitating and/or running rough.

I'm all about getting as much data as possible on this stuff.

I read somewhere else in the tech vault, someone said that the ECM in some conditions sends a voltage to the o2 sensor... I can't re-find where this was said now. anyway... anyone ever hear of this?

otherwise, anyone have any advice on interpreting the data I will get from my multimeter?

And no, I don't allow myself to be distracted by gauges while I ride. My looking at gauges is restricted to when conditions and traffic allow....

as I have time I plan to add a multimeter to the air intake temp sensor, the rear cylinder temp sensor, and the TPS sensor as well.... especially the TPS sensor... I don't trust that thing for a minute... it's just a damn variable resistor.. those things go bad over time...
