I bought my bike with these tires on it, and was wondering if anybody else has used them. From what I have read, they are a dual compound tire to increase the treadlife in the center of the tire. My main question about them is, what pressure should I run them at? Should I run them at the recommended pressures for the bike? I usually do a fair bit of aggressive riding on the weekends, with short commuting through town during the week.

My Triumph Sprint ST came with BT57's. They handled fine and lasted a long time. The rear lasted around 6,000 miles (the Avon that replaced it lasted less than 3,000) and the front is now due for replacement at close to 9,000. I don't read about many Buells running Battlax tires, but I'd sure run another set.
