On the hiway last nite, engine up to temp, cruising at 75, check engine light comes on for about 5 seconds, then goes out. Bike never indicates any trouble. It's an 07 9R. Should I be concerned, or was it just a thing? I would prefer not to go to the dealership if possible. Any thoughts?

Oh I forgot to mention that it seems to have a stutter or hesitation if I hold it at about 2700 r's, but it's very intermittent. My fuel mileage is down a bit also.

Search the site and find out how to pull up codes, not an Xb guy but others are and it will help them help you. Might consider a manual. This bike requires rider involvement.

Thanks for the input Joe. I did call my dealer and he said that it is storing a code. I am taking it in monday since its under warranty. I will be purchasing a manual soon, but my tech skills are somewhat limited. What does it mean rider involvement?
