In a car but never on a motorcycle but I'd like to. Might be able to make that happen if we plan it. I'm on an S1. Not exactly an all-day-ride comfort bike. I have an XB12S also but I'm still working out some issues with it. | ||

A friend and I have been working on a plan to do a sunrise ride out there, depart early and cruise the 100 or so miles down Skyline drive and then likely take the highway back. Would be a nice ride, nothing too extreme, but likely a good portion of the day. Would you be interested in doing something like this in the next week or two? | ||

I'd have to map out the distance and see if I could pull that off on the S1. That bike id pure hooligan ... no comforts at all. Skyline drive is about 2 and a half hours away, plus the 100 miles. I believe they are having the West Virginia Buell Rally this year. That's a good time! I think in August. | ||

Ah yes, I did see that post here and was thinking about going. Wow, that is quite the drive to Skyline. Maybe we can figure something out more middle of the way for us. | ||

If I get the XB figured out then Skyline would be fine, I might even do it on the S1. I can run it by my friend with the Uly. He lives even further north of Baltimore though so It would be longer than my ride. If you put together something closer let me know. |
