Anyone know if I do the tail delete on by XB12SS (remove the cheese grater, etc and mount the plate under the seat) will pass inspection? I'm thinking the body not extended past the rear of the tire would be the issue. I'm not sure if that is part of motorcycle inspection in Maine or not - do you?

I don't live in Maine, but inspections here in NY are probably stricter, and I've never heard of anyone having an issue with a chopped tail not passing as long as it is visible and properly lit.
