The July 14th weekend is good with us. OMRRA races the weekend of the 21st in Portland and MotoGP will at Laguna Seca on the 28th. We really enjoyed the ride to and around Bend last year, would love to do it again. | ||

July 24th is good for me too. I really liked the extended version that took us out to John Day and back again. Those are roads that I’d love to see as part of the SPLASH 2012 route. | ||

Loni, Thanks for setting me straight on the date. July 14th! Got it. Ya, after we split up, Shawn, SportyEric, Michael and self spent another day in Eastern Oregon. Amazing roads! I'll post a link to the teaser vid soon. Cheers FJ | ||

Hi all, We are excited about seeing you in Bend again this year and I am planning on coming up with a route that will include at least some of the roads FunJimmy is talking about and some new ones as well, but we cannot do the weekend of the 14th. That is the Oregon Country Fair weekend which is somewhat of a family tradition (yes, there are other things in life besides motorcycling - sorry!) I think we would be up for any other weekend in July or August or even doing Border Raid down here... MG | ||

Aw!We're good with either weekend. So the conflict is with Chris and Loni's race date for OMRRA and Michael's family commitments. We would really like to see both parties. Who's gonna budge? How important is the race? Would we cancel Border-Raid for SPLASH redux? We're still unhappy about the rate of vehicle seizures for mis-behaviour up here. | ||

The OMRRA race weekend of July 21st would exclude Mike and possibly Cody Wood. If no one has plans for Moto GP at Laguna the weekend of July 28th would work. One get together this year is not enough for me, I need to ride with my brothers and sisters at least twice. Let's be creative and plan another "South of the Boarder Raid." Lot's of good roads in north east Washington. | ||

While we're being creative, is there any merit in going even earlier and staging it the weekend of the 7th? I would have a vested interest in that date as its our "riding home from the south" weekend. Or the 28th. I just want everyone to be happy!! | ||

Any date werks fer me! 1125R is sitting in a parking lot dead till tues and I can get it towed home! Sez someshit about fuel error. May have been a Buell purchasing error on my part. But should be causing trouble by July! see ya sooner! -Galen | ||

I was just advised that we have friends visiting from New Zealand from July 13th – 18th. My son Joey is also performing in a Shakespearian play at Bard on the Beach, July 15th. My preference would be the following weekend if at all possible. Thanks Jimmy | ||
